“I followed my dad on the boatyards(…)” is such a weird and specific way to phrase it like what do you mean you followed your dad? didn’t you live with him? follow almost suggests not belonging but following, not being wanted but following. such strange things my Will says, stranger things in his pasts I have to eat him
