“Being surprised would require expectations.”
“And what were your expectations of me?”
Will scoffs. He looks outside. It’s started to snow. “Intimate question, don’t you think?”
“You feel sensitive over your thoughts.” Hannibal observes. Will meets his gaze. Hannibal then says, “You’re hyper aware of me the same way you were hyper aware of your date.” Then, “Hyper aware of yourself.”
