He refuses to believe Abigail to be an accomplice in the Shrike case, all Hannibal had to do was showcase kindness by saving a girl’s life during crisis and hold her hand at the hospital for him to fall for Hannibal’s bullshit, Margot tells him she won’t get pregnant and he’s like, yeah, I guess if you say so, stranger I’ve met twice in my lifetime🤷‍♀️

He is obviously very emotionally intelligent, but it’s easy to fool him when he wants to be fooled.
