What is your most controverisal Hannibal take? I'm curious
I hate the murder family trope… I don’t get it… They’re all tied to each other by trauma, Abigail is first her father’s hostage, then Hannibal’s. She is constantly afraid of being “found out” and is constantly negotiating with the world and fate and people to survive, including Will and Hannibal. Will doesn’t even know what Hannibal’s doing to her behind his back.
And I’ll see her being portrayed as this teenager who’s settling in normally in university in europe as a side story to hannigram and I’m like?? That person is fucked for life. She’s a victim to Hannibal, an insect caught in his web. They’re not some pseudo father-daughter. Hannibal’s playing god in her life and she has no power against him.
