[WIP] still pretty early, but i’m attempting to draw my specific john design in a more realistic style.
honestly i think a lot of john’s horrendous decision making post resurrection can be very simply explained by the fact that fundamentally he CANNOT live with himself for what he’s done, and yet despite that he MUST, because he can’t fucking die. i can’t even imagine the psychological state someone in that situation must be in.

not an ask, I just want to say I love your art. your style, with all those angles, is lovely. I'm particularly in love with your john (in general) and augustine. I feel like your john gets more love so I wanted you to know I've recently been obsessed with your saint of patience art of augustine like his eyelashes??? this fingers???? i’m so sorry i’ve been sitting on this ask for so long! it was just such a sweet message to receive i’ve been going back and looking at it when i feel like i’m bad at art.
i’m so glad you like that augustine, i’m very fond of that one too. i would love to draw him again at some point–besides the hair colour, he really does comprise an awful lot of features i absolutely love drawing. at the very least i definitely want to draw some john/augustine sometime.
