I know there are many reasons for Cytherea’s fun summer dive into deicide but personally I like to think Augustine’s stupid cigarette powerplay was a major factor. Like imagine you’ve been dying of lung cancer for 10'000 years and your coworker won’t stop smoking right in front of you, in an enclosed atmosphere. I’d destroy an empire too.
