It’s probably being discussed in other circles and I’m not seeing it, but like… Gideon the First’s body with Phyrra’s soul, and Phyrra is she/her and never spoken of in Nona as anything but a woman. The sharing of Cam’s body with Pal and the immediate, unquestioned switch of pronouns depending on who is fronting. Paul, they/them, pronouns not based on their body’s genitalia. Like the queerness, it’s never “HEY THIS IS OUR TRANS CHARACTER, BEHOLD THE TRANS!” anymore than it’s like “AND THEY ARE LESBIANS!!!!” They just go about being trans and queer in a normalized way. Everyone is queer and trans and horny and nobody’s fucking.
