Specialised for climbing, scouting, and long-range assault, the Hound emerged from the rift under Apostol 10 years ago and ran amok through the butchery district until secured by armourcatchers. Initially considered a success for Marrowtech’s new line of limiting tech, it proved to be a near-feral machine even when inhibited, refusing neural padding and killing pilots it refused to mesh with. Eventually it was sold at a loss to a private buyer, with a warning: anyone prepared to pilot the thing must be as volatile as it is.

Anna sometimes manifests in her spirit form as a ‘shadow priest’, and she is typically more playful, daring and unstable fun without the cooling husk of her dead vessel. I find her quite fun to write.
