Crips for eSims for Gaza and Connecting Humanity have already done so much work bringing Internet access to the people of Gaza, but the need for funding is constant. So we are very proud to announce the submission phase of our upcoming eSim bundle on Itch.io!

First and foremost, we want to extend sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed to the bundle, shared our posts on social media, and/or otherwise helped draw attention to this project and the essential work of Crips for eSims for Gaza.
We recognize that this is a period of upheaval and unsafety for so many globally, and that the escalation of fascism in the U.S. has led to the gutting of international aid to countless communities living in the long shadow of colonialism and empire.
During such bleak times, it’s vitally important to build collective power away from the machinations of the state. This bundle is a tiny gesture in a sea of struggle, but we hope it becomes a meaningful site of connection and solidarity!
The more immediate purpose of our update today is to share that we are extending the deadline for submissions for the bundle by one week, until February 17th.
We’ve made this adjustment for two reasons:
At a logistical level, we’re still in the process of coordinating with Itch.io to ensure 100% of proceeds can be transferred directly to Crips for eSims for Gaza at the sale’s end.
We’re so thrilled by the 100+ submissions we’ve already received, and we’d like to increase that number considerably. The more contributors we have, the greater the reach of the project and the more funds we can raise!
If you’ve already shared the project, now is a great time to do it again! We’re relying on our community of contributors to boost our visibility, share why the project is important to them, and reaffirm the importance of international solidarity as Palestinians navigate a precarious “ceasefire” with Israel.
If you’re hearing about the jam for the first time, welcome! We want your work, and we’d be grateful for any hype you can help us build. We’ll also be renewing our call for submissions on social media over the coming days.

for anyone who isn’t aware, friendsofthecongo.org/campaigns contains a list of actions you can take to help the democratic republic of congo, including pdfs of postcards you can print and send to a list of tech companies to tell them to stop using child miners AND a letter you can sign and send as well (+ potentially incorporate the main points of that letter into any scripts you might already be using for emails or calls to your reps!). friends of the congo also has a volunteer application form and a youtube channel
