Not so much of an emergency this week, but friends cancelled on my son for his birthday on 10/5, and I want to help do something for him! Of course I’m rather lacking in funds, so - My Commissions are wide open, and I have a donation goal now active.
New story illustration part of my graphic novel universe. Character is Sera, in her Templar uniform. In the story, she struggles with her religion and the things she discovers throughout her journey.
This was an interesting one, started as an experiment for a less painterly style. I still added some paintover details though (couldn’t help myself), but overall I’m quite happy with it. There are some WIPs posted over on my patre0n page.

New from @saint-vagrant, ‘The Solar System’: A trans/(anti-)military/sci-fi comic set in four timelines. Jack, a genetically modified supersoldier, and Nour, a displaced sniper, find each other on opposite sides every time. Unknown to them both, their lives are defined by the existence of a weapon that puts the worlds into motion. A story about hope.
Joe’s new comic is out and it truly must be seen to be believed. His unimitable skill at depicting physics that are impossible, and sensations that are unknowable, alongside deep and tangible character work, is on full display here.
