From very early in my life
I trained myself not to enjoy
any of the vain things that might come,
so I would not despair the day they’re gone.
I thought this clever strategy
would save me from the pain of loss,
but the beast has many faces,
and by accident…
… I fell in love.This is illustrations to chapter 20 of GTN also inspired by the song “Where the End Begins” by Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows. I love Locked Tomb SO MUCH that I made both of these drawings in under 24 hours and this speed is insane for me (that is what happens when I find new thing I really enjoy, I just forget how to sleep and rest). I’m planning to do more illustrations also in colour, I made sketches for first half of the same chapter, but they are going to be in watercolor and this means they will take more time to make oooooh ♥ Also I’m surprised that I didn’t lose the skill of working with brushpen over this year. happy to see I managed to even work with light here.
