when you are Orpheus leading Eurydice out of the underworld but you don’t know if there’s even a way out. when Eurydice herself ordered you not to look at her but she doesn’t understand why you won’t. she’s begging you to look. you’ll die if you don’t look. you don’t look. you still don’t even know if there’s a way out. when your mourning is so deep that you create an underworld of your own but you still can’t look for her.that a whole world was made from mourning, where everything was present once again.
Based on what Tamsyn Muir said about Alecto “hopefully” being the last book. I wish I could tell her directly “Do it. If the story needs to be longer do it. Hell make an entire book about the Harrow Nova au cause it ties into some later arc. Take up space. Dominate the genre.So many male writers make 5-8 books about some fantasy/Sci-fi world cause they feel like they have the audience’s attention to do so. And to be completely honest Tamsyn Muir has my attention like no other. Like yes girl make me read 3 more books consisting of 500-600 pages. I am sat.
Every day those skeleton lesbians are on my dash beating the shit out of each other or making out or playing mario kart. I don’t even know what kind of media the locked tomb is. Is it a tv series? A collection of plushies? A webcomic? A limited edition beverage with an oddly detailed lore behind it? Perchance. All of these questions and more could be solved by a simple google search, yet I kind of like having something that I have no context for - or understanding of - cross my dash occasionally.
