my initial idea for furry jod was that he would be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. one because omg lamb of god im connecting the dots fr, but also i wanted to capture that vulnerability(? helplessness? or thats how it felt to me safajka) jod had during most of htn and have him transform into this terrifying creature. but jod being a wolf didnt really vibe with me? felt jod wasnt feral enough and the wolf didnt feel scary enough.
i was scrolling through old ref when i found wendigo art and it just clicked for me, he could be a deer!!! still captures that sense of vulnerability and the transformation isnt so drastic + still rlly scary! did one google search abt deer and it just made even more sense🤷
