Something that i’ve been biting my tongue about since literally page 11 of Gideon the Ninth, but that never fails to make me giggle whenever i pick it back up:
Harrowhark’s name being, essentially, Behold: the horrors.
Harrow: to cause distress
Hark: listen or attention
Pelleamena and Priamhark really sat down and named their hard-won genocidal spawn Behold The Horrors and nothing could possibly be more on brand for this book or really the ninth house as a whole
