Gideon was genuinely surprised to find that she was shy

I have a deep obsession with this scene, this was the moment i new i was gonna love this book. Its really the first moment of doubt? we see from this cocksure strong woman. Gideon tells herself she is confident and funny and strong in the face of the adversity in the ninth house and here is when she learns she is also… shy.

I just related to gideon in this moment so much, and i need more meta around this scene because my thoughts are mostly AHHHHH
