really the tragedy of Nona is that by the middle of the book you KNOW she’s going to die. Doesn’t matter if she is some sort of Harrow/Gideon amalgamation or something new In Harrow but she is going to die. She loves everyone and she loves being alive and she’s six months old and she’s going to die. She knows this and you know this and she still gets to you as a kid in a war zone even though she’s not really a kid because she kind of is. She’s a kid and she’s going to die. There’s no saving her.
