Just realised that harrow was probably blurry around the edges after gideon did the Thing like ianthe was right after she absorbed babs

I would think that lack of remote plausibility would be a positive feature in this context
There are two distinct creative avenues to weigh against one another:
1. The incongruity and humour value of having an unaltered early 21st Century American-style coffee shop where no such coffee shop could conceivably be; versus
2. The worldbuidling exercise of bending both the established setting and the definition of “coffee shop” just enough that the presence of something that is recognisably a coffee shop becomes halfway plausible if you don’t think about it too hard.
