Like you have to imagine that the NUNS of the ninth house did not amass a library of skin mags, so gideon HAD to have been requisitioning them. Which means. my other favorite thing about this is that harrow has READ it. she says “some of your comics are very nasty” which implies that a) she’s read them b) she likes at least some of them, maybe even the nasty ones. harrow repeatedly approved these things for transport and presumably read each one as they came. the whole time pretending “i hate this, i hate griddle, i’m reading this out of hatred” and obviously lying horribly to herself but also she is incredibly repressed. soulmates, the two of them. i’m obsessed with everything about gideon’s titty mags
