I can’t believe this book exists and is written exactly in this ridiculous alternately super serious and unapologetically silly style so perfectly designed to appeal to me personally and there’s swords and so many bodyguard tropes and it’s gay and emotionally engaging and funny…. The fucking “studied the blade” meme?? In this moody gory scifi fantasy flick set probably hundreds of years in the future when the internet is but an ancient myth? So embarrassing.
