I kept thinking nona was some sort of amalgamation of Harrow & gideon, but she turned out to be alecto. what do you think of this addition? tlt being about 3 of them instead of 2?

Aha so you were in the Corona school of thought. I’d assumed it was Alecto since before the title change, but they managed to make me consider whether it might be Gideon a few times. Honestly I don’t think Gideon and Harrow could be happy as an amalgamation, for all that they’ve been trying to climb inside each other’s skins. They need friction to thrive. They can’t be spiritually fulfilled without their daily dose of mutual aggravation.

Re: Nona, I’m so happy we got her, so delighted we got to see the world through her fresh, tactile, observant perspective. Her description of Every Single Woman gave me heart palpitations. Experiencing my baby Gideon through her judgy eyes was really something. I loved spending time with her, she had the best supporting cast, I’d read another book or three of them. No regrets about the girls sharing screen time.

That said, if in atn Gideon doesn’t get 1) catharsis, 2) a hug, 3) to touch a boob, I will cry
