how to express my love for lesbian nuns in ways that people don’t misconstrue as support for the catholic church

i think it’s cool when women cheat on their husband (Christ) with their sister (fellow nun)

Griddlehark definitely not listening in to some conversation

When I drew this fanart of Ianthe in 2022 I captioned it “Ariana Grande voice you make me feel like a dangerous woman”

She’s a nepo baby. She’s a cannibal. She’s smarter than you. She performed a lobotomy on her unrequited crush. She’s enmeshed with her twin sister. She stabbed a guy she thinks is a clown and absorbed his soul. She followed god into a hole in reality in the vacuum of space just to see if he beefs it. She had a rotting dead man’s arm attached to her for months and she had it replaced it with gilded bone. She gives out great nicknames. She can’t flirt. She loves artistic nudes and space fascism. She is the people’s princess Ianthe Tridantarius

I just finished my re-read of Nona the Ninth. After I was done boohoo crying at “life is too short and love is too long” I had a thought-

In loving Nona, everyone who loved her loved the Earth. None of them have ever been there, none of them know it as home, none of them have a connection to it other than in their humanity.

Despite that, they all loved the Earth so tenderly and fiercely.

Through all of Nona’s slow starts, all her childhood whimsy and wonder, all of her endless fascination and delight with life. Despite the fact that her naivety could be treated with disdain or anger, as many people would likely do in the face of the light after a lifetime of darkness, everyone who interacted with her loved her.

Maybe they saw a glimpse of home in Nona. of course they couldn’t help but love her.
