here’s a speedpaint to my favorite drawing ive done 😭 i used a different technique to approach coloring this and it turned out good! it took longer but it was fun :) and no reference!
alright guys, here’s my TLT dnd homebrew stuff! there’s a whopping 8 pages of content in this bad boy. here’s a quick list of whats in it:
a necromancer class + 5 subclasses
an oath of devotion, lyctoral cavalier variant
a lyctor monster stat block
11 tlt inspired spells
i have “necromancer spells” written in here just as to not make the document confusing. for all purposes, you choose spells off the wizard spell list. depending on how much you like rules, you can pick necromancy spells from any class
some notes about things down below; if you have any questions about anything feel free to ask !
my friend and i were joking on call and my new headcanon is that magnus is afraid of ghosts. he loves his wife very much and supports her but the moment she wants to summon a ghost hes like “ill be in the hall! u got this!”
i just think itd be funny
Abigail gently scoops the ghost up in a paper cup and tips it back into the River while Magnus stands on a chair
I really feel for Harrow’s loss and rage, so this was created.
Thanks to fellow artist @lesquatrechevrons / @quatredraws for all the encouragement and assistance on this piece. I would have abandoned this long ago if I wasn’t nudged on.
This piece is not even half of what I envisioned it to be, but at this point, I simply don’t have the patience (sanity) or skill set to take it further. I will need a lot more practice, so this will have to suffice.
just harrow things: seeing ur ex-cav’s golden eyes in the mirror and realizing that the only logical next step is to get a lobotomy
[ID: Harrow’s horrified face is reflected in a mirror that has been shattered into pieces on a black background. One of her eyes in the reflection is golden-yellow, like Gideon’s, hence her horror. /end ID]
someone's probably thought of this already but i can't believe that palamedes and gideon both didn't use the opportunity to say "go ham, cam" at any point in the first book
i would like to title this post “things that shouldn’t make me emotional but do: how an author chooses to describe a fucking sword”
[You] beheld with relief your double-handed sword. Your relationship with it was becoming increasingly complex: you hated its presence, but the world without it would be unimaginable.
“I cannot conceive of a universe without you in it.”
The great two-handed sword was in your hands, now light as forgiveness.
“Nav, have you really forgiven me?” “Of course I have.”
