Very very rough, and my character design is very inconsistent, but I still like them tho
I wanted to capture Harrow’s sorrow leaving the ninth house, which is briefly but kinda beautifully expressed in GtN, even through Gideon’s bored pov . I feel that the “unrealiable narrator” trope of the first book (also present through all the other books tbh) could risk losing its spark in a potential visual adaptation, but Im pretty sure that you could have a really cheesy score (or mise en scene, like in this case) to undermine the drama enough that it feels like we’re witnessing it from Gideon’s eyes. But on a second view you could really percieve Harrow’s sadness, bypassing Gideon’s cringe, and instantly it’s not cheesy anymore. Dont know if it makes sense but whatever.
