"Mercy, tell me what to do and I'll do it. I'll do anything" he asys. Panel 2: medium shot of Mercy from the side. There are dried bloody-tears streak in her face. Panle 3-5: close up shot of Augustine from the front. He knocks his head against the wall and then he slowly lower himself to the ground. " I'll go to the end of the universe if you told me I could suffer enough- withstand enough- learn enough to be trully forgiven" continues John. Panel 6: establishing shot of John's room. John is standing in fron of Mercy. In the background Augustine, Wake, Ianthe, Gideon and G1deon in various state of distress, curiosity and alivenes (Wake is dead). "Tell me." says John.ALT

Look at me - look into my eyes - tell me you never wanted any harm to her" begs Mercy. "I loved Cristabel" says John. "Tell me you never wanted any harm to come to her" ask again Mercy. "I loved Cristabel. I never wanted any harm to come to Cristabel." repeats John. Panel 2: medium shot. Mercy sobs into John chest. John lowers his hands on Mercy' shoulder. "I'm so sorry. Page 3 Panel 1: extreme close up shot of Mercy face, tears streaming dorwn her face. "Tell me you are sorry you lied you bastard!" yells Mercy. Panel 2: extreme close up shot of John hand on Mercy shoulder. Panel 3: medium shot. Mercy gives is back to the "audience". John is still holding her; his head is in the shadown. "I lied to you. They are dead because of me. I let them die because I thought it was easier... and I have regretted it for nearly ten thousand years. I love you so much, Mercy; I will love you three until the end of the time, until there is nothing left of me but the remnant atoms of the god and man who loved you." says John. I like to be consistent when I can so imagine what I felt when, after drawing 4 pages, I re-read the chapher after this scene and I found out Mercy was wearing the white robe.
