I finally braved the waters of drawing all the Canaan House necro-cav pairs, plus a compilation of some year-old HtN things (I am so unreasonably happy with Harrow’s fancy paint)
completely forgot about the fact that in the french translation griddle is changed to gigi and this whole fandom is sleeping on that fact
The Japanese translation will keep some of the words like “adept” and then asign some kanji to it to offer explanation but leave the reading in katana to sound like the original english word. And it did that for Griddle so Griddle became guridoru [グリドル] (because that’s the closest they could sound that word) but then they assigned muscle woman [筋肉女] as the kanji to the name lol.
like yes harrowhark was definitely off the wall bonkers for the self lobotomy but let’s not pretend palamedes sextus wouldn’t have done the exact same thing. my guy blew himself up bc he knew the second cam found out how much danger they were in she would’ve fallen on the sword for him. he was sorrier to leave her alone than he was to die
