this is mostly funny to me bc it’s made very clear that the ninth house, as focused as it is on survival, does not operate by the same social rules/expectations as the other houses:

like it is fully established that the ninth house has No Chill and that gideon has been taught to fight for survival, while the other cavaliers primary have been taught to duel for sport.
gideon might very well have shot naberius if harrow’d had her way
none of the other cavaliers brought “powder” as their offhand like come on harrow is that even an actual thing or are you just being a creepy and violent little ninth nun!!!
