Sometimes you read/watch a thing, and a character will remind you of another character in something else, with enough notable differences that you’re not sure whether they’d be best friends or hate each other’s guts, but you could probably write a whole comparative essay about them and how their differences reflect on the larger narratives they belong to, but you don’t have any friends who are into/caught up on both of those stories, so you’re just Revolving Them Around Each Other
