i was thinking about gideon prime and how he is so much more muscular than the other lyctors, and i just noticed that when harrow sees him for the first time, she describes him as being

“like an idiot’s construct, bones that had been slippered in meaty fibrils to keep them moving.”

and it really makes me wonder if he is only so ripped because he used flesh magic to reshape himself to be that way, rather than just being some strange anomaly
