Also, did you all know that @gamzee is brilliant and full of arcane space knowledge in addition to wielding major art skills? It’s true.
Callie and Caliborn are sort of a bizarre case at this point, since via shenanigans they no longer share a body. That’s also why Callie will never physically mature into an adult of her species; she’s really only half of a Cherub, as she never predominated over and absorbed her other half.
Oh my goodness, thank you for taking the time to send us this message! I have the biggest smile on my face right now :o) And I’m so glad that you’re enjoying it so far. That’s really all we want with Act 8, is for the people making it and reading it to have a good time.

Act 8 has updated with Act 3: Panels 69-77

No plans to cover that, I’m afraid. My theory was always that her conditional mortality was tied to Lord English’s boon, which deactivated upon the release of the treasure juju. Act 8’s script is already dense with Hapenings, and as hard as I shook that jar I just couldn’t get any pennies out that I felt I had valuable things to say regarding. So, it is a subject I will leave for other talented fan folk to address.
It is a mysterious iteration of Rose Lalonde’s diary that has been written and drawn in. It contains brief accounts of scattered events from the pasts and futures of alternate timelines, presumably doomed.
The wand does magic!
I think there are a few things that qualify, but none that prod too strongly at anything already established.

Oh, Jade’s only losing the Green Sun related powers, it’s just that those particular powers are very useful indeed. Moreover, Jade is used to relying on those powers, so I imagine that while she may learn to compensate quite well for no longer having them, it may take a long time.

That is the gist of things, with Davepetasprite^2 as an additional ingredient. Their final form will be mostly Calliope, as cherubs have a natural advantage when it comes to predominating a self composed of multiple wills.

Here is my tentative update schedule for the rest of the month;
- every day between now and the 15th, in small chunks, unless we run out of story to post
- an “intermission” over the week of the 16th
- sizeable updates on the 23rd and 24th
- Absolutely Probably Nothing Special On The 25th
This is, of course, subject to change, but not severely. Get ready for the scariest October yet.

Quite possibly the longest I have ever spent on any one piece of artwork, I present the finished product of that drawing I started how long ago!! And just in time for Inktober.
This was inspired by Act 8, though it’s not any scene in particular. I cannot recommend Act 8 highly enough to anyone, so please know that if you’ve been pondering going and reading it then you ABSOLUTELY should.
I may post close ups here soon, but here is the full picture, taken from my phone camera. A lot of love went into this but it pales in comparison to my love for Act 8.

Turns out there is a storm headed for my part of the country tonight, and it’s likely to continue through the weekend. I may lose power, and that’s going to put a big dent in the content I had planned for the second half of this month, if it does happen.
