Hey just wanted to let you know that while I'm sad to see this story go, thanks for working on it for so long and for letting us know what's up. I'll probably be unfollowing but I'm not mad or anything, and best of luck to everyone on their next endeavors.

who knows maybe itll get passed down and youll get to see this now (more than likely totally spoiled by that point) completed adventure to its full potential? its a huge ass mystery ive got no real answer for

THE PLAN:

act8official:

- Act 8 will have one last update potentially around the end of febuary to sometime before 4/13, with momo (probably) at the helm continuing where we left off.

- This update will be about give or take ten pages long, an almost halfway finished 9 minute flash, and a synopsis of what would have happened through the rest of the story.

- The rest of the unused story assets will be released HERE on this blog. there’s a lot. the CALICORE album was one of these assets.

- The story will then be set to discontinued, unless somebody capable REALLY wants it.

- As for ACTx8 NEW, it might be slightly retooled to fit into @hsactomega so it doesnt go to waste, there was really too much comedy gold to not exploit.

i was next in line to direct as head co-write but, my act 8 really differs from momos act 8 and i dont want to change an already planned out story to my whims even if it could be something good. it just doesnt feel right.

this is for the best of a lot of people.

if you want a good substitute, read @hsactomega for more different ending scenarios. i do occasional panel work and writing.

or if you want something most of the same team still works on, read @vasterror

its definitely chill to unfollow this blog now, its definitely cool to be upset about this or VE taking over the blog

but there’s still a little bit left before we’re done for good.

I'm pretty sad now. I was really enjoying Act 8. I refreshed the page every day, waiting and hoping for an update. Especially after that cliffhanger.

yeah going through that and then just hearing “well shit we’re closing up shop” is probably a butt breaker

but the cliffhanger will be resolved at least, even if in word form
