So, uh... I'm interested to see where this project goes, and I love alternate ending type stuff, but it seems like y'all are being super entitled about the ending. The ending is Hussie's creation, and that's that- don't claim to "fix it".

I can see where you’re coming from, and I know sometimes we joke about Homestuck being “our city now”, but at its core this project comes from a place of love. Andrew Hussie produced a groundbreaking webcomic/multimedia experience that has reached an incredibly diverse and passionate audience, and there’s nothing we could possibly do to take that away from him, even if we wanted to.

Homestuck isn’t our intellectual property, we just want to keep playing in this world he built for a while longer. None of the contributors are gaining any financial or other tangible benefit for their efforts. This is just a way of exploring certain plot threads further, spending more time with the characters we love, and perhaps for some of us one last hurrah before we turn our attention to new, non-Homestuck things.
