Is that old summary of the ending you guys planned still canon, or will it be completely different this time?

The main arc/thematic thread of the story is still the same in my head, but the version that went up was already a bit out of date to what my plans had become. So the answer is somewhere in the middle. Hopefully I can strike a balance so that no one is either bored or disappointed. Thank you for asking!
