wow so fully leveled sollux effectively makes fully leveled rose totally obsolete yeah? that’s, hmmm

Huh? I mean, sure, Doom’s a lot stronger than Grimdark, but the added expense means you can only Doom once with a full Yellow bar, but you can Grimdark twice with a full Purple. There’s also the fact that if you dual-wield them, you can use both their tricks at no reduction in capacity, since they work off of different colors, so while I can see the argument that he’s better than her, I can’t say that makes either of them obsolete per se.

Or are you talking numbers? Is lvl 70 godlux really strong enough to completely obsolete godrose despite their different colors and all? My sol isn’t quite at the top yet, I guess I should check his final stats for myself then.

Quick check and leveling session later, and yeah, Godlux is pretty much stronger all around numberswise than Godrose, so that’s a valid thing you’re saying if that’s what you were saying. Also, combining them both gives your team an awful lot of offensive oomph, so that’s fun. Adding a defense breaker (I chose Nep because Nep is great) for things like Highblood or Clover (or if you’re not aiming at those I guess you don’t need it, Rose/Lux has enough stopping power to push through almost anything else) makes for an incredibly potent, incredibly aggressive team. I filled out with Terezi because I wanted multicolor shenanigans galore (That’s all colors, and it’s also red twice and green twice) but maybe I should’ve chosen a healer or defender instead. Maybe Jane? Can’t have Jake because Sol wants all the yellow for himself. Kanaya? I mean, she doesn’t heal that much, but having an offensive healer on a team this aggressive would be, ah, thematic?

Wow I sure do like hearing myself type.
