I see your post on Dread Innocence, and raise you one Polypa. How does she fit into all this?

Haven’t looked too closely at her, but if Polypa seems a bit more world-weavy and less innocent than most Breathbound, it’s probably the influence of her blood caste. Olivebloods are pushed towards the influence of the Heart Aspect, which is much more rooted in the material realities of the world, closer to Blood than Breath. Come to think of it, she does seem to want to be a bit more innocent, though, going by her response to the romantic movie and especially to your shooshpapping.

Bronya and innocence is much more straightforward, she pretty clearly cloaks herself in it to hide herself from the unpleasant realities of her job, simplifying her reality and very pointedly not thinking about things that are dangerous to think about, like her feelings about living under a regime that tells her to leave wounded infants to die.
