How do Bard's work? Some people say that if they are in a session that they're there for a reason

Bards are passive destroyers through and of their Aspects, archetypally associated with a notion of royalty. They are said to be capricious, and to accomplish unexpected things. I’m not sure that there’s that much more special to them than that. Of the Bards we’ve seen, one was an English worshiper to the end and just about the worst trash imaginable, and one was poisoned by toxic masculinity to the point of paralysis (possibly due to sabotage by, oh, let’s say Kurloz, why not).
