I understand the concern, though. There’s a bit of a whiplash, especially if you’ve been reading the story as it updates rather than by archive, when the retcon happens and the story suddenly flips from tough and emotionally draining to suddenly throwing confetti at you over and over.

But, well, sometimes things work out. It does happen. Especially when you have Terezi Pyrope on your side.
