So I’m doing some Kaiju maths, to try and figure out how big my babies would be. And I am floored by the height-weight ratio of the Kaiju.

Otachi is 63 meters tall, and weighs 2.690 tons. That means she weighs approximately 42 tons for every meter tall she is.

I’d approximate them as blocks. Take a guess at the height, width and length of each Kaiju in meters (on all fours, minus anything that sticks out but doesn’t weigh a lot, like wings, tails or long legs), multiply them together and that number is your answer in tons (assuming they have about the density of water, which they’d need to swim).

Assuming Otachi is about half as wide as she is tall and twice as long, that’s 60 * 30 * 120=about 200 tons. All the approximations means she could probably be anywhere from 400 to 100, but it’s probably in that ballpark.
