The nature of the rest of Homestuck Volume 10 leads one to think that the smooth, rising siren synth must lead to a big transition. Possibly one involving bass, and/or its displacement downwards in the vertical dimension. But that doesn’t happen. That rising siren folds right back into the melody. There’s something deeply satisfying about that effect. It’s hard to explain. But I love it.

This is my favorite track on the whole album. Just a fantastic groove, all the way through.
