October 2014

By Michael Guy Bowman

Lyrically, this is the wittiest song on Mobius Trip & Hadron Kaleido, in my opinion. The recurring intro hook works really well to tie together the verses.

Written, performed, and produced by Michael Guy Bowman. Featuring Thomas Ferkol (guitar solo) and Tavia Morra (backup vocals).

It’s far simpler in composition than most of Bowman’s tunes, but I like it all the better for it. The pacing carries a pretty serious Tom Petty vibe to it. This might be my favorite vocal performance of his, too: it’s a little more subdued and he really nails it (same goes for the duet). This one’s a rocker.

Bowman’s album Ithaca is available for purchase at Bandcamp.
