Shore here is a couple of recent Jades. My week was good I’ve been rewatching Batman movies.
Looove all your art. While rebrowsing through your tag again, I realized what yout style reminded me of! It would definitely fit the vibe of the comic The Department of Truth (Highly recommend btw)

Thank you, here’s a drawing of Dirk mimicking the style of the comic. I see the resemblance a little with the texture, but even further so and a little more comic booky. It’s kind of hard to replicate digitally actually.
I gave it a read, it reminded me of inside job if it had better art direction and no comedy “adult humor show” element.
I really don’t read comics largely at all so thank you for introducing me to this. I used to as a kid but only stuff like I kill giants and any manga I could afford, so I’ve read a lot of trashy manga and that’s about it. A lot of my friends talk about superheroes and stuff and it totally goes wayy over my head, haha. I only really watch movies.
How did you go about developing your style and how long did it take you? I love everything about your art style and the composition and colors, it’s all very visually appealing and flows rly nicely :)

I may repeat myself here because I don’t reread my own posts and immediately forget everything I’ve said before on here but I’m not really sure “how long it took me” to be honest because I am not sure how to quantify that. I think I could go on for a lot longer than I did but I’m absolutely exhausted so please excuse any stupid writing.

Admittedly self indulgent because I’m the only one that cares about it but stripping some of the layers away revealed some pretty interesting pieces on their own. The more you know
I find it wonderful when it’s done well and obnoxious when it isn’t, I lean towards a positive opinion on it I’d say. I still much prefer them as friends though and I don’t think it fits at all into either of their characters
