Idk if anyone has already asked you this, but for how long have you been drawing?

Cliché or not, I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil.

Obviously I sucked when I was 11. Haha.

After 13ish, I completely stopped drawing until around a year ago where I picked art up again. I’ve always looked at art in the interim though, & I would draw on occasion but that’s all. My art “journey” is really non linear. I basically got really good for a 10 year old in the furry community and then quit for a long long time until I randomly drew Donnie Darko one day and went “Hold on dude… I forgot I can draw. I should do that”.

Art has always been my passion, whether I was the one drawing it or not though. Although my true ideas regarding art have really developed in the past 2.5 years really specifically, it’s been an interest and defining part of my life since forever.

Here are drawings I made almost exactly a year ago, when I was still really coming to grips with the kind of art I want to make. I still have a very very long way to go in terms of everything.
