I know you don't believe in the passive/active (and personally, I'm all for that, it saves a lot of trouble.) dichotomy but how do you feel about classes and aspects being sorted in pairs? Do you think each class/aspect compliments another one, like narrative foils or opposing themes/archetypes?
Nnnno not really. Like, if you do and see connections like that, that’s neat, but my modus operandus for this was to just zero in on each class/aspect on its own and try very hard not to let others influence. I was trying to build by addition and subtraction of evidence, not drawing comparisons and contrasts, if that makes sense?
