Thesis: The Alphas are liars, they lie to you the reader, they lie to each other, they lie to themselves, and if you take them at their word you will literally miss The Point.
I cannot fucking believe I forgot to mention in the Jake Section that RIGHT BEFORE the janejake friendzone convo, RIGHT BEFORE, when jake is talking to roxy, he literally fucking slips up and refers to jane’s feelings as “unrequited” he literally says it

Someone asked me what I mean about the Alphas being liars. Coincidentally I did basically an extemporaneous TED Talk on the topic a while ago. There are a few details I would rephrase (my meta about Okay What Is BGD Really changes a lot) but broadly speaking, this is a primer on how The Alphas Are Liars.
