1. Is there a specific drink you like to have when you’re writing?

Water with roughly 6793 ice cubes.

8. Which character is your favorite to write?  Why?

Fandom-wise, definitely Dirk Strider. He’s very self-preserving, which makes him very versatile when throwing him into AUs because he’ll quickly adapt (and thrive!) in any situation. He’s also hilarious.

In my personal work, I like my guy Wells Nolastname. He’s a very dry-humored immortal who chases emotional highs. He’s hilarious, too. I probably like funny, sad, self-serving gays because I am one.

11. What were your favorite books as a child?

Hmm… I really liked fantasy stuff, oddly enough. Artemis Fowl was my jam. I was super into Gail Carson Levine’s Faeries as well. Lots of GCL fae-works still on my bookshelf, including an autographed one!

20. What color scheme is your current work in progress?


Oooh, this is a fun question. You know I’ve got a lot of WIPs atm but I’ll go with my immortals story since I already mentioned my favorite one—the color scheme of which actually changes with the setting. 1926 New York is a deep midnight blue to black with gold, 1927 Los Angeles is olive greens and tans and blue water and alabaster, 1930s Paris is pastel pinks and eggshell yellows and silver and white…

28. What’s your inspiration for writing?

I’m fascinated with capturing the physical intricacies of a sensation or emotion in words. My writing style isn’t very internal, and I very rarely have my characters read aloud their thoughts, so much of my work is dedicated to capturing and displaying moments in their pure physicality. That’s what I aspire to do, that’s what I love, and that’s what keeps me writing. ✨
