21. Do you create aesthetics for your writing, ie. on pinterest or tumblr?  If so, what’s the board or tag?

Nope! It’s all in my head. Occasionally I’ll tag things with my OCs name but those are usually jokes.


22. Do you listen to music when you write?

Almost exclusively. There’s all sorts of studies that claim it detracts brainpower from work but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

23. Do you make playlists for your works in progress, characters, or scenes?

I do! A lot of my writing plot points have music attached to them, and especially my settings. To use my immortals story’s settings again: 1920s New York has hip-hop with heavy gospel influences, 1920s Los Angeles has deceptively upbeat alt-pop, 1930s Paris has vintage-sounding beat tapes, etc.

30. What’s your favorite part about writing?

I love getting personally swept up in the emotion of a scene. I love scratching down a conversation and not worrying about the quality, just feeling the oomph behind it. It’s a fantastic feeling. Nothing like it in the world.
