If John used it several times, it would have shown up in MSPA's search function. And it doesn't, not used by John.

Look, I don’t want to come off as angry, but we are just a little fanmade blog! I THINK he used it once, from what I remember. That, or I was high or something while reading the comic haha. And we are no way the last word for the comic! We mostly take submissions, anyway. And don’t expect me to know EVERYTHING! This webcomic is HUGE. And many things get lost in with everything else, in my head. :)

It has never been used by John in the entirety of the comic. From what I'm counting once by Jade, once by Nannasprite, several times in Karkat's emoticons, and then by Jane. John has never done it not once.

You know, maybe it IS Jade that I am thinking of… Who knows? Im looking right now, just in case.

I'm asking you to CHECK your facts. It's not that hard. It's very very simple to search these kinds of things. This isn't a "forgotten homestuck things I THINK happened" blog.

As to all this John stuff, why are people getting so angry about it? It's a silly emote, and they may be confusing /Jane/ with John. Jane uses the emote rather often, and offhand I don't remember John never using it, but he may have. This is a rather silly thing for people to be yelling at you about!

Someone once went through every pesterlog of John's. He never used it. I remember it clearly because I thought "Huh, how interesting someone would take the time to go through," and that I didn't think it was a big deal.

People shouldn't be getting so irritated with you over one silly mistake. Homestuck, as said before, is a *huge* comic, and it's hard to keep everything remembered and seperated in your head, so I really don't think people should be giving you so much trouble.

Half of these things aren't true, but I know you can't help it because you take submissions and all that junk. Besides those few I just look at some and laugh because it's so true that everyone has forgotten them. That's why I love this fandom in all honesty. Half of the people don't remember squat from the comic or just read it to look at the "funny pictures". Though, I would suggest looking through the comic with every submission to check if it's true or not so you don't make anyone mad.

Haha thank you, I really should do this. I try sometimes, but half the time I either have a hard time finding it, or I’m just not in the mood. But I think I should start doing this regardless. I tend to be too trustworthy… And just accept every damn submission I get! And I should be more cautious!

((I sent in the ones about Terezi beating up Karkat and Arthour being strong; I am certain the first is true, but I don't have access to a real computer to check. The second, however, is located right after Equius's intriduction, if I remember!!)

You could make it a rule or something for submitters give the panel link with their submission where it states the fact!

What you should do is have a team of people who look through the comic and then source the submissions. Alternatively: refuse to accept submissions without sources. (Wait, that won't work, though... I need a different idea...)

Hey, I have this random fact in my head that Karkat was an insomniac prior to the game. I can't remember if that was true or not. Can someone clear this up for me?

I don’t remember? Hm… If I am remembering correctly, he DID fall asleep for a while after the game started.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Karkat didn't sleep at all during the game, because he didn't trust the players not to try to take over.

Okay! My memory is coming back! He DID sleep, but once the game started he didn’t sleep! He was a very paranoid leader!

At first, Karkat was wary about sleeping, but then his body had to finally give out. Someone recommended him taking a nap, I don't remember who, but he finally did. That was when he finally woke up on Prospit and Jack killed not only their dream selves but he started destroying Prospit. After that, Karkat banned sleep for everyone for their own protection.

im sorry i was rude in my 2 asks but like seriously why are you guys not actually chking your facts? i would appreciate it if you look over the ones youve uploaded and checked them. quite a few on your blog are incorrect, or not facts, just SPECULATION or headcanons.

 I apologize for any incorrect facts, we shall try harder to make sure our facts are properly checked in the future.
