Yes, if their death is heroic or just they will not revive.

Such as if John jumped in front of someone and got stabbed in the chest.  He died heroically and would not come back.

Or if Vriska hadn’t been killed the rest of the trolls would have so it was a just death.

But the Sufferer and Redglare never met, they were alive at different times.

I'm reading back through the ancestors games(A6I3), and I was wondering if there was any significance to the parallels of the relationships between horuss X rufioh and jake X dirk, like the kissing the dead head and letting the dream-self take over, and the robot-selfs that dirk/horuss made for jake/rufioh?? They seem eerily similar.

There are some theories that Damara parallels Jane and that Jane will snap and mangle Jake like what Damara did to Rufioh.

It’s just one theory, if you dig around you can find more detail and/or other theories.

Actually, we don't know whether Vriska's death was just or heroic. It could have been just for the reason you mentioned, or heroic for letting Terezi do it and get closure, ect., by killing her.

Actually, the "Vriska lives, everyone dies" timeline was a "hypothetical timeline" by Doc Scratch! Terezi herself felt that letting Vriska go wasn't a choice at all, so that timeline could not have come to pass. (She beat herself up over that fact for years to come, too.)

How does dave's time travel work? I'm seriously confused about it.

Aranea tampered with the luck of that outcome (hence the light symbol, a flash of her eyes over the clock just before it stopped in the center, and the "lucky break" that appeared above). Jade's death is even MORE debatable as Just than Vriska's.

Wait I don't think that timeline was hypothetical. Later on, Terezi talks to Aranea and she mentions that timeline. And Terezi says how she wishes she could apologies to both Vriskas but mostly the one she killed.

Is there any information on how a Hero of Time obtains their time-travel device? We never saw Dave or Aradia obtain theirs, though it seems to be implied that alchemy was involved. Dave used his turntables, and Aradia used whatever she could find for lack of a house: the music boxes lying around in her Land of Quartz and Melody. But we never saw how that happened.

I dunno, I assume they develop that skill just like everyone else develops the skills that come packaged with their titles.

Actually, Dave can interact with his past and future selves as much as he pleases. He literally went back in time in order to give himself a thumbs-up to trust terezi. Also, he summons several clones of himself across the timelines in his and jade's fight with jack

Idk if this is the right place to ask, but all tricksters are canonically caucasian correct? Would this apply to troll tricksters as well? Im planing a trickster terezi cosplay and want to know if i need to go grey or not.

I’m really not sure if that would apply to trolls.  Typically in fanart trickster!trolls are a random assortment of pastel colours.  It’s a mystery.
