I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand the answer that Mod T gave for the answer about blood colors. Do the fantrolls mean that there can be in-betweens or not? Because i feel like i read that mierfa has cerulean-colored blood, the same adjective as vriska. I'm sorry im not trying to be contrary or anything i really dont understand that answer

Neither of the canon fantrolls share the same exact color of blood as any of  the other trolls.  Yes it may be cerulean but it’s not the same shade.  Any tint, hue, or shade off the ordinary hemospectrum is fine and totes canon.

Mierfa's introduction SAYS she is a cerulean blood, but her blood looks more like that of a Zahhaks for sure. Nektan is violet through and through.

But, wouldn't there be 12 castes but different hues in those castes. If you look at Horuss and Equius, the hue they use is different but they are in the same caste. So aren't there different hues but only 12 (or 11 if you don't count mutant) castes?

in your heir || knight post, i'm a bit confused; how was mituna protected by visions of doom? he burned himself out and caused himself brain damage. maybe he could fall under the passive side, as he was protecting his team, but i don't really see how he could have been protecting himself.

He had visions of doom which allowed him to avoid it.  This knowledge of doom protected him from actually falling into it. The only reason that he burnt out is because no one would listen so he couldn’t avoid the doom and had to confront it in order to keep his friends safe.

Another example of canon 'inbetweens' would be Kurloz Makara, whose text color is slightly different than Gamzee's in his appearences. That could just be an error, though, and some of the blood colors are canonically different than text colors.

Nektan's blood color and the Amporas' blood colors aren't actually violet, they're purple. mspaintadventures wikia page for the Hemospectrum messed a few of the names of the colors up, including "indigo," "violet," "purple," and "burgundy," if that's what you're looking at. Some of the other colors are probably messed up, too.

Nanna was a product of ectobiology.

Dad was made in a vagina.

Also if Dad were one of the kids there’d be an uneven male-to-female ratio and that wouldn’t end well.

I'm still confused on the whole "pre punched card" thing, is it to get the item ready for alchemizing later or is it something else? Thanks in advance for any explanation you could give me!

Once a card is punched it no longer can be used as a Captchalogue card.

This prepares it to be used in the Totem Lathe which makes a totem thing based on the card.

The totem is then taken to the Alchemiter to alchemize the item.

But Dave and Jade found an upgrade to the Alchemiter so that you can just use the code from the card and don’t have to get it punched anymore.

John’s lasted a day.

Karkat’s lasted just over three weeks.

And Jane’s is just over three months

It might help to differentiate between dad Crocker and dad Egbert. Dad Egbert (John's dad) was born from nanna/old lady jane and an unknown (?) father (not jake), while dad Crocker (Jane's dad) was born of poppop/old man john and an unknown (?) mother. Thus the two dads are genetically different and are really two different people, even if they look and act the same. Children of Jane/jake would actually probably turn out more like Jade and John than either of the dads, too. I think. Idk science

It's weird how long each session lasted, they're all so different. What determines how long a session lasts? I'm curious because apparently it can range from 1 day to 3 months.

John’s session launched the Reckoning early after 24 hours because Bec Noir started it .

Karkat’s was 612 hours, a hivebent reference.

Jane’s group had to wait 3 months for John’s group to arrive. But they’re not finished yet so we don’t know how long it will last.

actually the time shenanigans is because the Medium is supposed to be timeless, it's in the letter to John Nannasprite wrote(source: p=002659) i'm p sure that means its time doesn't have anything to do with stuff outside of it, but I can't find a source for that

Also it's worth mentioning that theoretically the alpha kids' session would never end because it's a void session, ie no prototypings pre-entry therefore no war therefore no reckoning

So the other day i was thinking and realized that when Jadesprite and Propspit dreamer Jade were combined the real Jade was also there. I mean she was yelling at the Jadesprite and Karkat was even sitting there watching and imagining them kissing. What happened to the regular Jade after that though? Cause she isn't the one who went to god teir. I might just be confused. Other thoughts though?

Jadesprite was made from Jade’s dreamself.

Regular Jade was the one killed by the shaving cream bomb.
