A couple updates were collapsed, so the eight predicted updates are really seven now.
The weekend of the Great Hug Bump of 2015 will be updateless - the last two updates before the Omegapause will be Monday and Tuesday (Which may be Sunday and Monday in reality, depending on your timezone, as has been the trend of late!)
However, the pre-endgame stuff (by which we presume he means Pretty Much The Breadth Of A6A6I5) won’t be over after these two updates! Rather, Hussie has chosen a “nice place to leave off that doesn’t feel too cliffhangery” for the last update pre-Omegapause, and “another stetch of pages more in the vein of escalating material” will be posted after it, such as to make it closer to the “very significant animation project” which will follow.
More will be said about the pause after it officially begins!

I don’t think people legitimately hate him for that. People in every fandom complain when the writers do something nasty to their favorite characters. Luckily in homestuck death doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t see a character again.

Why during 'ministrife' we see so many different versions of the same characters together? They would reappear during Tavros confrontation with post-ret Vriska and Meenah, and I can't quite understand it yet.

The adult trolls were all banished into outer space to conquer new planets to expand the Condesce’s empire. It isn’t mentioned what age constitutes as an “adult”.
so what are all the villains' goals at the moment?
The Condesce wants to kill Lord English and build up a new empire in the new universe. Lord English wants to kill everything, specifically Calliope. Jack English most likely has the same goals as LE. Bec Noir’s goals right now are unknown. Spades Slick also has unknown goals.
I have sort of a silly question regarding troll romance based on some things I forgot about the quadrants. Is it possible to have a following scenario where Troll A has a matespritship with Troll B, but also is moirail with Troll C; however, Trolls B and C don't get along and there are spades between them. Troll D then meddles as clubs, trying to keep their relationship functional. Like, is it really possible?
