Ryan North (friend of Hussie’s) and Paperseverywhere (artist who worked on Collide) both confirmed that Act 7 is updating at midnight. Welovefine tweeted to a follower asking about mspa updating and said 12 pm but then replied again and said that’s when the store is updating, not the website.

My favorite flash is [S] Caliborn: Enter. Once I saw Caliborn all blood splattered and his cane switched to the AK-47 I knew he was my favorite.

Homestuck the Anime is canon

Act 7, to my understanding

cancerously:

- Rings are thrown in volcano. This kickstarts the production of the new Genesis Frog.

- With the conditions for the new universe met by Echidna, the new tadpole begins to take root in the kid’s original Skaia, as shrunk, held, and then released by Jade. It travels to the center of the hole that John carved out when he extracted The Tumor, which was stopping the kid’s genesis frog from taking root. The Frog emerges, fully grown, and creates a complete new universe.

- Alt Calliope, meanwhile, destroys the Cherub’s Green Sun, and uses it’s power to create a massive, massive black hole, to destroy the old universe into the void, along with herself.

- Vriska, during the fight, deploys Caliborn’s juju, and opens it up. This creates a stable time loop that releases the kids, when they were captured by Caliborn, allowing their beings not to be tied to this universe. This switches the door they are standing in front of to the door to the new universe.

- John opens the door- through his touching the handle, everyone from their session was transported to the new Universe. Yes, everyone. Your favs are fine. (Gamzee might be there too).

- Once in the new Universe, Jade deploys Roxy’s Earth, which was the culmination of their plan- to terraform and live on that with their friends and the carapaces.

- When Lord English attacks the Juju, the door opens- on the other side. Lord English is now trapped inside.

- Using the power of the Green Sun, Alt Calliope destroys the old universe. She and everything else is gone. However, Caliborn destroying the clock means he is unkillable- and the juju is indestructible. So in the old universe, sealed in his own juju, exists Lord English. Forever quarantined to the unknowing void, floating through space.

- The last thing we see, when the kids enter, is an unprototyped kernelsprite, which signifies the circular nature of Homestuck- the “new game plus” if you will. That SBURB will return, somehow, to this new universe, and it will all begin again, eventually.

I know you're probably getting a ton of asks but how come calliborne breaks his clock and becomes LE with flashing eyes in ACT 7 [S] if theres calliborne's masterpiece explaining how dirk made lord english with the culmination of characters.

He had flashing eyes in the masterpiece. Breaking the clock is what gave them to him, but he’s still Caliborn in every other regard.

how did you feel about the ending?

I loved it. It was gorgeous, I cried. I don’t care that it left plot point unresolved, Homestuck has always been a vague comic, preferring to leave things to reader interpretation. Such as character races, sexalities, whether Gamzee is an asshole or a puppet, whether Vriska is a good or bad person, etc.

Hussie said we’ll get an epilogue which will probably tie whatever is left together. But in till then I’m just gonna appreciate the beautiful flash and then maybe deny that Homestuck is actually over, we’ll see.

Thank you Hussie, for creating an epic, for creating a community. You’ve given me a place I feel I belong, you’ve given me characters I can relate to, , you’ve made me laugh and cry more times than I can count. Thank you Hussie, for creating an expansive universe with unique mechanics.
Homestuck has shaped the last four years of my life and has forever changed me as a person. I’m so sad to see the story I care so deeply for end.
But I recognize that it’s a new beginning for you too, and that no matter what project you decide to move onto next, I’ll be right behind you, waiting patiently to see what your brilliant mind comes up with and giving you my support.
No other story will ever make me feel the way Homestuck has.

We have no idea if Homestuck 2.0 is a thing, presumably it’s a thing, but even if it is a thing, it might not even be Homestuck related. Just referred to as Homestuck 2.0 to indicate Hussie’s next big thing.

What happened to the living sprites, like davepetasprite and gcatavrosprite??

Speculatively, I assume they couldn’t enter and had to stay behind and might possibly have been killed, but I don’t know. Stay tuned for the epilogue to find out.

Before, you guys had mentioned believing in a multi-Caliborn theory, that alpha!Caliborn and art!Caliborn were two different beings. So has this been proven false by Act 7?
